about

Hey there, my name is Helena.

I’m a photographer based in London, and am in my final year of a BA Photojournalism & Documentary Photography course at the London College of Communication.
I am happy whenever I create - I love painting, drawing, photography, baking, and much more.

I try to find inspiration in everything I see and do, and see photography as an opportunity to capture people, situations, and places as they really are. I strive to document the world in a natural way.

On this blog I share lots of photography advice, tips on how to improve your photos, and how to use your camera. I believe that everyone can pick up a camera and capture what they see in their very personal way. I want to enable people to do exactly that, which is why I'm offering personal photography lessons. I love sharing my knowledge, and find that having a 'personal teacher' will make learning a lot easier and more fun.

I have a genuine interest in social and humanitarian issues, and I believe that photography gives me a chance to communicate the truth and therefore help lead towards positive change in the world.
